Hi! I’m Lance. I’m a fourth year Ph.D. candidate in Information Science at the University of Michigan School of Information, where I’m fortunate to be advised by Dr. Barbara Ericson. My research focuses on AI literacy, computer science education, and education equity and justice.

I completed my Ed.M. at Harvard Graduate School of Education. As an undergraduate at Brown University, I worked with Dr. Shriram Krishnamurthi studying how programming language design can facilitate students’ understanding of data organizations.
